The state Oil Exploration Company and Iraqi firm KAR signed an agreement on 6 October for 2D and 3D seismic surveys at Sasan and Allan in Nineveh, the Oil Ministry announced through NINA and 964media.
The disclosed package concerns exploration services at the two fields. The ministry links it to reserve replacement and future oil and gas production. Its signing announcement gives no contract value, survey acreage or completion date.
